·Mongolia has claimed one medal at the Paralympic Games. Baatarjav Dambadondog won the men's individual recurve standing (archery) at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic

Games.

·Mongolia is in joint 91st place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC made its debut at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games.

·At the London 2012 Paralympic Games two female athletes from Mongolia finished in the top-10 of women's individual recurve standing. Javzmaa Byambasuren just

missed out on a medal with her fourth place while Oyun-Erdene Buyunjargal finished in ninth.

·Byambasuren's fourth place was the best result by a Mongolian athlete in London. The best result by a male athlete was Ganbat Dashtseren's seventh place in the men's

up to 90kg class in judo.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Mongolia, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
