·Samoa has yet to claim a medal at the Paralympic Summer Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games.

·Leitu Viliamu has had the highest finish at the Paralympic Games representing Samoa. She came in sixth in the women's shot put F42/44 in London 2012.

·Mose Faatamala participated in 2000, 2004 and 2008 in three different events. His best result came in men's javelin throw F46 in Sydney 2000, in which he finished seventh.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Samoa, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at
