·This only medal came at the Atlanta 1996 Paralympic Games, where Jorge Llerena claimed a bronze medal in the men's 200m T10 event.

·The NPC made its debut at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

·At the London 2012 Paralympic Games, Gonzalo Dutra was the only Uruguayan athlete to compete. He finished 22nd in the men's butterfly S10 and 17th in the men's

100m backstroke S10.
