·Venezuela has claimed 11 medals at the Paralympic Games: G1-S2-B8.

·Beijing 2008 were Venezuela's most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning one gold medal (S1-B2).

·The NPC made its debut at the Stoke Mandeville/New York 1984 Paralympic Games.

·Venezuela is in 83rd place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC has been most successful in judo, claiming one gold and two bronze medals. Venezuela won its other medal in athletics (S2-B6).

·Naomi Suazo won Venezuela's only gold medal at the Paralympic Games. She won the women's up to 63kg in judo at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

·At the London 2012 Paralympic Games, Venezuela's two bronze medals were taken by Marcos Falcon Tovar in the men's up to 66kg in judo and Omar Monterola in the

men's 200m T37.
