The World Para Swimming World Series will open in the Bellahoej Svoemmestadion in Copenhagen on 11 March, featuring around 250 athletes.

Across two days, swimmers such as Norway’s multiple Paralympic and world champion Sarah Louise Rung will challenge for points.

The venue is one of the best competition pools in Denmark, and is also the training centre for Danish Paralympic and Olympic swimmers.

The Copenhagen World Series opens the 2017 season, which will feature the World Para Swimming Championships in Mexico City, from 30 September – 6 October.

Results will be available at the Danish Paralympic Committee’s website.
