World Para Swimming - World Series 2022

The Para Swimming World Series returns for its sixth season in 2022 with three events already confirmed, ahead of a busy year of Major Championships.

Para Swimming World Series Great Britain

17–20 February

The season will kick off in Great Britain again, with the Aberdeen Sports Village’s Aquatics Centre to play host to the World Series for the first time in four days of intense action. 

Para Swimming World Series Australia

18-20 February

The World Series returns to Oceania as Melbourne hosts the competition for the third time. The venue will be the Melbourne Sports Centres (MSAC) and the competition will be held in conjunction with the Victorian State Swimming Championships.

Para Swimming World Series Lignano Sabbiadoro 

11-13 March

Lignano Sabbiadoro will be home to the second stop of the season in Europe at the Bella Italia Village sports complex. The Italian city hosted the World Series for the first time in 2018.

Para Swimming World Series Berlin 

31 March-3 April

The German capital has been part of the World Series programme since the inaugural season in 2017. The Schwimm- und Sprunghalle in the Europasportpark (SSE) – has one of the fastest swimming pools in the world. 

Para Swimming World Series Indianapolis

7-9 April

The World Series will return to Indianapolis to host the event for the fifth year when the competition returns to the IU Natatorium in April.

Citi Para Swimming World Series Mexico

6-9 October

Mexico is the new addition to the Citi Para Swimming World Series calendar with Tijuana hosting the competition.
The Mexican city will be the second stop in the Americas in the 2022 season

Accommodation Information 

All athletes' results at each Para Swimming World Series edition are calculated using a standardised World Para Swimming points system via an online virtual competition platform.

This ensures that the overall Para Swimming World Series winner will be the best performing athlete over the duration of the series, meaning that every performance counts.

After each event, the Para Swimming World Series rankings will be updated on the World Para Swimming Website.
