The ParAthletics Grand Prix in Nottwil is arguably one of the best meetings in the world for wheelchair athletes and, as a result, attracts athletes from all over the world. In 2017 the ParAthletics Grand Prix in Nottwil will take place from 2nd to 3rd June and on 5th June.

Athletes and staff will be hosted at the Swiss Paraplegics Centre adjacent to the competition venue in Nottwil or at Campus Sursee, only 10 minutes by shuttle bus from the Paraplegics Centre. Both venues are fully wheelchair accessible. The venue is located on the shores of the stunning Lake of Sempach and a short journey from the famous city of Lucerne.

Daniela Jutzeler Memorial and the Swiss Open Nationals is also part of the Swiss Racing Series, a renowned event series for wheelchair athletes. In 2017 Daniela Jutzeler Memorial will take place on 25th May and the Swiss Nationals from 27th to 28th May at the athletics stadium in Arbon. The LOC in Arbon also offers track and field events for ambulant athletes (all classes 11-13, 20, 31-38, 40-47 and 50-57). In the field events there will be only jump disciplines as high jump, triple jump and long jump, no throwing competitions.
