Around 200 athletes from nearly 30 countries are expected to compete at the Komazawa Olympic Park.

The 2013 IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport World Championships took place in Tokyo, Japan, on 7-8 December.

Around 200 athletes from nearly 30 countries competed at the Komazawa Olympic Park.

2010, Hannover, Germany

120 athletes from over 20 countries competed in the most recent World Championships which took place in Hannover Germany. Dancers from Mexico, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Poland all topped the podium, with Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovakia also collecting medals over the two days of competition.

2008, Minsk, Belarus

Athletes from nearly 20 countries gathered in Minsk, Belarus for the 2008 World Championships. Russia dominated the podium, collecting two medals whilst Poland and Ukraine each picked up one title each.
