Declan Farmer named Milano Cortina 2026 MVP

The Milano Cortina 2026 Para ice hockey directorate announced the individual tournament awards on Sunday (15 March) following the gold medal game, along with the Media Best Player selected by accredited media. 

USA’s Declan Farmer was named the tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP). He led the tournament in scoring with 26 points in five games, setting a new record for the most points scored in a single Paralympic Winter Games. 

Farmer was also named Best Forward by the tournament’s directorate and voted Media Best Player. 
Czechia’s Patrik Sedlacek was selected as Best Goalkeeper, while USA’ Jack Wallace was named Best Defender.
