World ParaVolley has announced its competitions set for 2021 in the lead-up to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in August.

The Men's Sitting Volleyball Paralympic Qualification Tournament is set to take place from 1-5 June in Duisburg, Germany. Canada, Croatia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Ukraine and the USA are expected to compete for the one last spot into the eight-team Tokyo 2020 field. The winner would join hosts Japan, 2018 World Championship winners Iran and runners-up Bosnia and Herzegovina, and zonal qualified teams China, Russia, Brazil and Egypt.

The Women's Sitting Volleyball Qualification Tournament wrapped up last February, with Canada securing the last ticket up for grabs. The USA qualified for Tokyo 2020 via the 2018 World Championships, along with hosts Japan, and Brazil, China, Italy and Rwanda who earned qualification via their zonal tournaments.
