IFDS Launches 2012 Paralympic Sailing Competition Website

"Since sailing became an official Paralympic sport at Sydney 2000 we have seen many of the sailors' progress and London 2012 will no doubt be another competitive event featuring the world's best disabled sailors."

Throughout the Paralympic Sailing Competition, which takes place from 1-6 September 2012 in Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain, the website will play host to all the latest information, news, features, results and images from on and off the water.

Linda Merkle, IFDS President, said, "We are extremely pleased to be able to offer the sailors, media and fans a dedicated sailing website throughout the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The London 2012 Paralympic Games Sailing Competition will take place at the Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy and Portland Marina, located in Dorset on the South Coast of England and will feature 80 athletes competing across 3 events. Racing is scheduled to take place from 1-6 September.
