IPC Ice Sledge Hockey Sport Technical Committee Meets in Bonn

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Ice Sledge Hockey Sport Technical Meeting recently met in Bonn, Germany, to discuss the upcoming 2012 World Championships and the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.

The site of next year’s World Championships will be announced shortly, and more teams than ever before are expected to participate.

Classification and marketing matters regarding the sport were also discussed.

The Sport Technical Committee additionally conversed about how to grow the sport of Ice Sledge Hockey around the globe and how to recruit new athletes, officials and classifiers.
