The International Paralympic Committee’s (IPC) media and communications team has been shortlisted for three prestigious European Excellence Awards.

Craig Spence, the IPC’s Director of Media and Communications, is one of three people shortlisted for PR Professional of the Year.

“To be shortlisted for three significant European awards is testament to the outstanding work of the dedicated team we have at our headquarters and the efforts of volunteers from around the world who support us on a daily basis in implementing our communications strategy,” said Craig Spence.

“The team has had an amazing year, already doubling the number of people visiting the IPC’s website and reaching more than 1.8 billion people via digital media. Global awareness of the Paralympic Games, the Paralympic Movement and Paralympic athletes has never been higher and we aim to continue this good work over the coming years.”
