As part of IPC Powerlifting’s aim to increase the number of referees around the world it is staging a training course in Fortaleza, Brazil between 26-29 November 2012, prior to the start of the Brazilian National Championships.

A maximum number of 20 places are available for the course and National Paralympic Committees are invited to nominate and support candidates to take part before the application deadline of 25 October 2012.

Only applicants who fulfil the eligible criteria outlined in the IPC Powerlifting Qualification and Development Pathway and submit a CV detailing their last four years of Powerlifting experience will be considered for the course.

Following the 25 October deadline, IPC Powerlifting will review applications and decide on the final list of participants by 29 October 2012.

The cost for taking part in the course is €150 per participant, and all those taking part must cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
