Jun voted South Korea’s Athlete of the Year

She won silver in the 100m and 200m T36 sprints in London last summer, was named MVP of Korea’s 32nd National Para Games and was also awarded Athlete of the Year by KPC’s Women in Sports Committee.

Min-Jae Jun, a T36 sprinter who won two silvers at London 2012, was voted the Republic of Korea Paralympic Committee’s (KPC) Athlete of the Year for 2012 via an online poll.

Jun was selected with an overwhelming number of votes on Facebook by members of the public who had the chance to vote for 12 different athletes or teams.

She won silver in the 100m and 200m T36 sprints in London last summer, was named MVP of Korea’s 32nd National Para Games and was also awarded Athlete of the Year by KPC’s Women in Sports Committee.
