Snow sports return and the marathon series wraps up in November

BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2017

The eleventh edition of the sport’s most important competition outside the Paralympic Games will be held in Ulsan, South Korea, from 21-26 November, with the world’s best Para badminton players competing.

IWAS Wheelchair Fencing World Championships

World's best fencers will gather in Rome, Italy, from 7-12 November, for a new edition of the World Championships.

IWAS World Games

Athletes from across the world will gather in Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Portugal to compete across six sports: archery, athletics, swimming, table tennis and taekwondo, from 30 November - 6 December.

World Para Snowboard Europa Cup and World Cup

Landgraaf, the Netherlands, will host two successive Para snowboard competitions, starting with the Europa Cup on 14 November. It will be followed by the second World Cup between 15 and 16 November. The third World Cup will take place in Pyha, Finland, from 30 November-2 December.

World Shooting Para Sport World Cup

For a second year in a row, Bangkok, Thailand, will host a World Shooting Para Sport World Cup, with competition scheduled for 8-11 November.

World Marathon Major New York

Tatyana McFadden will go for another victory on home soil in New York on 5 November after sealing her seventh consecutive triumph at the Chicago Marathon; while Switzerland’s Marcel Hug will start as favourite among men.

PTT Americas Regional Para Table Tennis Championships

San Jose, Costa Rica, will stage the Para table tennis continental event between 29 November and 4 December.

IWBF African Wheelchair Basketball Championships

The event will run 17-26 November in Durban, South Africa, with both men’s and women’s champions securing a spot at the 2018 World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, from 17-26 August.

IBSA Blind Football American Championships

Reigning Paralympic and world champions Brazil are hoping to continue their winning streak in Santiago, Chile from 25 November-4 December, but will face tough opposition from arch-rivals and Rio 2016 bronze medallists Argentina.

ParaVolley Europe Zonal Championships

Thirteen male and nine female teams from across Europe will gather in Porec, Croatia, for the continental sitting volleyball competition, from 4-12 November.

2017 IBSA Goalball Americas Regional Championship

The Brazilian Paralympic Training Centre in Sao Paulo will stage yet another Para sport event in the year, with the best men’s and women’s teams seeking continental glory.

World Para Alpine Skiing Europa Cup

The event in Ladgraaf, the Netherlands, will kick off the Para alpine skiing season between 9 and 10 November.

Copa Tango

A new edition of the traditional Para table tennis event will take place in the Argentinian capital city of Buenos Aires from 20-24 November.
