Four Snow Sports Nations Meetings will be held from 11-16 June 2021.

The annual meetings will offer an overview of the 2020-21 season across the Para Alpine skiing, Para Nordic skiing and Para Snowboard sports, and also lay the groundwork for the future development of these sports.

This will be the second consecutive year when the meetings are held in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year’s meetings had 360 participants from 45 National Paralympic Committees (NPCs).

The event will begin with sport specific meetings. The Para Snowboard session will open the proceedings on 11 June, followed by Para Alpine skiing on 14 June and Para Nordic skiing on 15 June.

A Combined Nations Meeting will wrap up the event on 16 June.

Key topics to be discussed at the Nations Meetings include:

•    2020-21 World Cup and Europa Cup seasons.

•    Recent decisions from the Working Groups and Sport Technical Committees of the different Para Snow Sports.

•    Updates on the upcoming Lillehammer 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships and Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.

Lillehammer 2021 will take place from from 8 to 23 January 2022 and will be the firs time Para Alpine Skiing, Para Nordic Skiing and Para Snowboard World Championships are jointly hosted in the same city.

Beijing will host the next edition of Winter Paralympics from 4 to 13 March next year.
