Panasonic becomes Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Partner

The Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee has welcomed Panasonic Corporation (Panasonic) as a Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Partner. Panasonic joins under the category “Audio-Visual Equipment, Home Appliances, Electric Bicycles, Care Products (bathroom, vanity, shower and home elevators for the elderly and persons with impairments) as well as the Power Assist Suit.” The addition of Panasonic brings the total number of Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Partners to 44.

By becoming a Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Partner, the highest tier of the domestic sponsorship programme, Panasonic will provide valuable support to the successful delivery of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Tokyo 2020 President Yoshiro Mori welcomed the new appointment: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Panasonic Corporation as a Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Partner. Panasonic is a Worldwide Olympic Partner, and supported the Paralympic Games for a total of 16 years beginning with the Nagano 1998 Winter Paralympic Games. Through its various sponsorship activities, Panasonic has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in Games-related matters, and we are confident that the company will make a valuable contribution to the success of the Tokyo 2020 Games.”
