Ones to Watch
The men's up to 107kg final will open the day's action with a tight contest expected between Mongolia's Enkhbayar Sodnompijee and Iranian Aliakbar Gharibshahi.
Sodnompijee is the reigning Paralympic champion and has been in medal contention in several major events while Gharibshahi is the world champion and the current world record holder since Dubai 2022 World Cup.
Next up will be women's up to 86kg which should witness China's reigning world champion and world record holder Zheng Feifei taking the top honours. Feifei holds the world record at 159kg.
However, London 2012 champion Loveline Obiji from Nigeria would be eager to regain the gold posing a strong challenge before Feifei.
The women's over 86kg will have the likes of China's Xuemei Deng, the reigning Paralympic and world champion, who will the favourite to take the gold.
However, Nigeria's Folashade Oluwafemiayo, the Tokyo 2020 champion in women's up to 86kg category, has moved to a heavier weight category aiming to win her first gold in the category. She is also the current world record holder in the category on 165kg.
The men's over 107kg will conclude the action at the La Chapelle Arena which will expect Iranian Aminzadeh Ahmad putting up a powerful show - he will be aiming to keep legend Siamand Rahman legacy with the gold. Rahman still holds the world record at 310kg achieved in Rio 2016.
Reigning Paralympic champion Jamil Elshebli will also be in the mix.
