Paris 2024 unveils Paralympic event schedule

The Organising Committee of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games has unveiled the sports competition calendar by event with just over 18 months to go until the Games begin.

The Porte de La Chapelle Arena in the north of Paris will host the five days of Para powerlifting events from 4 to 8 September 2024. 

A total of 180 athletes are set to compete in 20 medal events (10 for female powerlifters and 10 for male powerlifters).

The men’s up to 49kg and women’s up to 41kg will open the programme on day one starting at 12:00. The afternoon session begins at 17:00 with the women’s up to 45kg followed by the men’s up to 54kg.
