Pre-Paralympic football-5 tournament kicks off

Three-time Paralympic football-5 gold medallists Brazil, world runner-up Argentina, Asian champions Iran, China, African champions Morocco and Mexico will be joined by Japan and a Brazil B team in the 5th International Challenge from 1-5 June, in Rio.

All teams except Japan and the Brazilian B team have qualified for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

This tournament will help the teams put the finishing touches on their preparations towards this year’s Paralympic Games and is hosted by the Brazilian Sports Confederation for the Visually Impaired.
