Spain’s visually impaired para-athlete Mari Carmen Paredes is one of six runners taking part in the Canal+ TV show “Run to Valencia”. The show accompanies six athletes over 12 episodes and shows their preparations to run in the upcoming Valencia marathon on 16 November.

The programme, which was produced in collaboration with the Fundación Trinidad Alfonso, is aired every Saturday at 22.00 on Canal+ Deportes.

Besides the T12 marathon runner other participants include a teacher from Barcelona, a personal trainer, a prison officer from Madrid, a popular athlete from Valencia and a bank employee from Malaga.

Each episode demonstrates their preparations, their strength, the doubts and fears and the emotions the six runners go through on their way to Valencia.
