Sweden announce 19 athletes for Sochi 2014

Sweden are looking to improve on their Vancouver 2010 Paralympic performance, where they won two bronze medals.

Sweden have announced a 19-strong athlete delegation headed to March’s Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, which includes athletes in alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, ice sledge hockey and wheelchair curling.

Sweden are looking to improve on their Vancouver 2010 Paralympic performance, where they won two bronze medals.

They head to Sochi with strong representation in the team sports, including a wheelchair curling team that won silver at last year World Championships led by skip Jalle Jungnell.
