Tunisia Hosts London 2012 Athletics Qualifier

356 men and 102 women are entered into the competition in Tunisia.

The sixth International Athletics Meeting of Tunis begins on Wednesday (22 March) in Tunisia, and will serve as a London 2012 Paralympic Games qualification event, drawing 458 athletes from 46 different countries.

Several African nations will seek slots for London, as host nation Tunisia has entered 77 athletes into the competition,

Cameroon will have 58 and Nigeria will be 45 strong – 10 of those visually impaired athletes.

Algeria, France and Turkey are also expected to bring large delegations.

The event runs through to 29 March.
