Ukraine showed great form ahead of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, winning the football 7-a-side International Tournament with a 4-0 record.

The event took place in Arnhem, the Netherlands, between 19 and 26 June, with the hosts, World No. 1 Ukraine and the USA playing against each other twice in a round robin format.

The London 2012 silver medallists achieved a 4-1 opening victory against World No. 4 the Netherlands and then picked up three more wins: 8-2 against the hosts, and 9-0 and 5-0 with the USA.

At the upcoming Rio 2016 Paralympics, 2015 World Championship runners-up Ukraine were drawn in Group A together with Ireland, Great Britain and hosts Brazil.

Reigning Paralympic and world champions Russia will be joined by the Netherlands, Argentina and the USA in Group B.
