World Para Powerlifting expresses condolences to family of Mohammad Abuarar

World Para Powerlifting is saddened by the passing of Jordanian Para powerlifter Mohammad Abuarar.

The 25-year-old passed away on Sunday (16 May) in Jordan. 

Abuarar made his international debut in 2012 and represented the Asian country in two World Championships.

He competed at Mexico City 2017 in the men’s up to 97 kg category and at Nur-Sultan 2019 in the men’s up to 107kg.

Abuarar won a bronze medal for Jordan competing at home in the Amman 2019 West Asian Para Games in the men’s over 97kg category.
 
World Para Powerlifting send its condolences to the family and friends of Abuarar, as well as to the National Paralympic Committee of Jordan in such a difficult moment.
