The first World Para Athletics Junior Championships were held in Nottwil, Switzerland

The second edition of the World Para Athletics Junior Championships was held in Nottwil, Switzerland in 2019, following a successful debut at the same venue in 2017.

The Championships took place from 1-4 August 2019 at the Sport Arena of the Swiss Paraplegic Centre.

Athletes were divided into two age categories as follows:

• Under 20 (U20) Men's and Women's: Any athlete born in 2000, 2001 or 2002

• Under 17 (U17) Boys and Girls: Any athlete born in 2003, 2004 or 2005
