Paralympic Games Go Multimedia
Bonn, Germany - As the entire media team of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) will soon be heading to Canada for the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games, all preparations are in their final stages. The Games do not begin for another 11 days, however various tools and channels are already in place to relay as much information as possible to Paralympic fans around the world. 01 Mar 2010 By IPCThe first official newsletter that will be distributed to Paralympic fans all around the world, labelled "Vancouver 2010 News", will provide a daily overview of the Games experience. Inside this publication will be various interviews with the people of the Paralympic Games, including athletes, officials, volunteers, family members, and spectators. Additionally, the IPC Media & Communications Team will be publishing stories directly related to the Games like competitions and results, as well as other cultural activities connected to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Paralympics experience. The President of the IPC, Sir Philip Craven, has already begun his own interpretation of the Games with a President’s Blog. Like in Beijing, this blog will provide an inside look at the president’s experiences, with the possibility to include comments below each entry in an open forum-like platform for the Paralympic community.
ParalympicSport.TV, the IPC’s official internet channel, will deliver the most comprehensive coverage of Paralympic Winter Games ever, with a live feed and videos on-demand of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.
