GOLD McFADDEN Tatyana USA - United States of America SILVER DONG Hongjiao CHN - People's Republic of China BRONZE WOLF Edith SUI - Switzerland LONDON, September 3 Wheelchair racer Tatyana McFADDEN (USA) covered one lap of the track almost a second faster than she had ever done before to add the T54 women's 400m title to her her 2011 world championships gold medal, crossing the line in 52.97. McFADDEN, racing in lane seven, was in the lead by the end of the first bend and just kept extending her advantage. She was 15m in front at the start of the home straight and finished more than two seconds clear of her nearest rival. "This is my third Games and I was just itching for a gold medal.
