Seung-Hwan Jung: Korea at Sochi

Sledge Hockey tactics discussion with coach and team mates. Seung-Hwan Jung - biography Seung-Hwan Jung started playing ice sledge hockey in 2004. Only four years later he made his international debut at the 2008 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships and his Paralympic debut at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. According to his opponents, Jung is the fastest ice sledge hockey player in the world. Jung says that is because he is smaller compared to his competitors and therefore has to compensate his lack in size with speed. His greatest achievement so far has been leading his team to a silver medal at the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships A-Pool and gold at the 2013 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey Qualification Tournament in Torino. In Torino, Jung was named Best Forward after racking up eight goals, four assists and a shot percentage of 38 per cent. At the 2013 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships A-Pool, Jung was South-Korea's leading scorer. Jung lost his left leg in an accident at the age of five.
