Sports of the Parapan American Games: Para taekwondo

Para taekwondo will make its Parapan American Games debut at Lima 2019, one year before being introduced into the Paralympic programme in Tokyo, Japan.

The sport's first World Championships took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, in 2009.
