Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games Tickets on Sale Soon

Chinese citizens can place their order through the official BOCOG ticketing website or ubmit completed order forms to one of the designated Bank of China branches across the country. The Ticketing Call Centre (+86-010-952008) will only provide policy consultation.

According to the ticketing plan, there will be 21,000 tickets for the Opening Ceremony and 26,000 tickets for the Closing Ceremony available. The booking period will end on 30 December. No time preference will be given to any application and all applications will enjoy the same opportunity to win the lottery. After the lottery, the Beijing 2008 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (BOCOG) will notify all applicants of their results.

The Opening Ceremony tickets have five price categories: 80 RMB, 400 RMB, 800 RMB, 1500 RMB and 2600 RMB. The Closing Ceremony tickets have four price categories: 50 RMB, 200 RMB, 400 RMB and 600 RMB.

In regards to tickets for Paralympic Sport competitions, BOCOG will implement a low price policy as well as distribute ‘Educational Programme Tickets’. The latter are free of charge and will be given to persons with a disability and young students.
