Spain’s Eindhoven double-gold medallist Teresa Perales and Norway’s four-time Euros 2014 title-winner Sarah Louise Rung will go head-to-head a final time in the women's 50m backstroke.

Men’s 100m butterfly S9

Italy’s Federico Morlacchi is going for his fifth gold of the 2014 Euros and a 100 per cent record in this race.

The 20-year-old picked up his first title last year at the 2013 IPC Swimming World Championships in Montreal, Canada, in this very event, so he will be looking to keep a clean sheet.

Once again Hungarian Tamas Sors will be right on his heels looking for his first gold of the meet as will Spaniard Jose Mari.

Women’s 100m freestyle S10

The pressure is off France’s double world champion Elodie Lorandi in this race, as the French Paralympic champion won gold in her favourite 400m freestyle earlier on in the week (7 August).

She has the fastest time, but Dutchwoman Summer Mortimer is also on form having one two golds with two new European records over the past seven days.

This will be one of the most enthralling races of Sunday (10 August).

Women’s 50m backstroke S4

This event is the last chance for the Netherland’s Lisette Teunissen to win gold this week.

It would be difficult to bet against her, as she is the reigning Paralympic, world and European champion and holds the world record.

Ukrainian S3 swimmer Olga Sviderska has also had an excellent meet, sealing three world records across the week.

Men’s 50m backstroke S4

The Czech Republic’s European record holder Arnost Petracek has won the only medal for his country in Eindhoven, also in a sprint event – the 50m freestyle, where he won silver.

He has the quickest qualification time for this race with Russia’s Aleksei Lyzhikhin some way behind.

Also in action on the final day are members of Great Britain’s 62 medal-winning squad including Eleanor Simmonds, Amy Marren, Stephanie Millward, Jessica-Jane Applegate, Stephanie Slater, and Andrew Mullen, all hopeful of adding medals to strengthen the team’s third place in the medals table.

Spain’s Eindhoven double-gold medallist Teresa Perales and Norway’s four-time Euros 2014 title-winner Sarah Louise Rung will go head-to-head a final time in the women's 50m backstroke.

Ukraine’s Dymotro Vynohradets will be aiming for his eighth gold medal across team and relay races in the men's 50m breaststroke SB3.

The 2014 IPC Swimming European Championships continue until 10 August and feature around 380 of the world’s best swimmers from 37 countries.
