World silver medallist David Blair tops the rankings in the men’s discus F44 this year after throwing a world record 63.61m at the Arizona Grand Prix in the USA in May before winning the US Trials.

The American only returned to track and field in 2015 after a 16-year break and now heads to his first Paralympic Games in Rio as a key contender for gold.

Here’s what Blair likes to listen to to get him in the zone:

“I really like the classic rock scene. So anything Bon Jovi, and I like a lot of Creedence Clearwater Revival stuff – in fact my work out tape is loaded with CCR songs. Every once in a while I like some Guns ‘n’ Roses. That’s my hardcore music – I don’t always listen to that, but I’ll listen to it on occasion.”

Bon Jovi – ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’

Creedence Clearwater Revival – ‘Run Through the Jungle’

Guns ‘n’ Roses – ‘Welcome to the Jungle’
