The USA’s Kevin McKee was a member of the gold-medal winning squad from the 2015 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships A-Pool and the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.

The forward, who has been on the national team since 2010-11, finished last season with seven goals and five assists from 13 games.

Here, McKee answers three questions about the game.

Who do you think are the top five sledge hockey players in the world right now?

1. Josh Pauls (USA)

2. Declan Farmer (USA)

3. Brad Bowden (Canada)

4. Dmitrii Lisov (Russia)

5. Steve Cash (USA)

Which player do you enjoying facing the most?

Brad Bowden, because when I first made the national team, the coaches told me he has a similar style of play. So, I have always watched Bowden to see what he does.

Which NHL player do you like to model your game after?

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane because he is such a threat when he has the puck. Like Kane, I try to make quick and subtle plays, always thinking two or three steps ahead.

The first international games of the 2015-16 ice sledge hockey season will take place in Torino, Italy, between 7-12 December. Canada, South Korea, Norway and Italy will face-off.
