First-Hand Experience with IPC President's Blog
For the first time during the Paralympic Games, a real-time blog with entries from the IPC President will be up and running for all those interested in the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. The IPC President’s Blog will be a daily look into the Games activities, but more specifically, into Sir Philip Craven’s day. 19 Aug 2008
Each day, the President will write a short diary entry summarizing what he has seen and experienced during the day and what is to come. It will provide a more personal look into the Paralympic Games that differs from the typical news-style reporting that you might normally read.
"There will be much to write and much to provide, in terms of sharing my direct experiences with all of you. I hope that you take the opportunity to read my thoughts, hopes and experiences along the way and I welcome your comments at any time. These upcoming Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games will be an exciting event where once again all athletes will inspire and excite the world with their sporting excellence", said Sir Philip.
In addition to his words, all readers of the blog will be able to write their own comments and post them underneath each entry.
