Here are five facts about the 18-year-old.

1. Hahn achieved her college qualifications in Animal Care – but fortunately she’s never received any animal related injuries along the way – “I’ve been bitten by a couple of mice and a couple of guinea pigs, but nothing too extreme!”

2. Hahn likes to listen to her favourite music before she races – Beyonce helps to get her in the zone.

3. She was just 16-years-old when she set a new world record in the 100m T38 at the 2013 World Championships.

4. As a youngster she spent her weekends down her local riding stables, helping to muck out in return for rides.

5. She enjoys going to concerts and gigs – most recently 'Florence and the Machine' with her mum.

The IPC Athletics World Championships will take place in Doha, Qatar, between 21-31 October, attracting 1,400 athletes from 100 countries.
