IPC Powerlifting calls for 2015 Euros bids

IPC Powerlifting has announced a call for bid applications to host the 2015 IPC Powerlifting European Championships.

All respective information and documentation for interested bidding organisations can be found here. The deadline to return the required documentation is 29 July.

The most recent edition of the sport’s Championships took place in Aleksin, Russia last month and was an open event that drew nearly 140 athletes from 25 countries.

Russia topped the medals table with 11 gold and 18 overall medals. Iraq finished second with three gold and five total medals, followed by Poland with two gold and eight total medals.
