Sprinter Ilse Hayes who set a sensational new 100m world record last year shares her musical tastes.

South African sprinter Ilse Hayes added another two major gold medals to her trophy cabinet when she won both the 100m and 200m T13 at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Those victories rounded off a superb year that included Hayes clocking 11.89 seconds for the 100m at the IPC Athletics Grand Prix in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which ranked her as the world’s fastest female Paralympian at that time.

This year Hayes will be aiming to top the podium once more at the Paralympic Games in Brazil – having won long jump gold and 100m silver four years ago. To find out what inspires her, check out this week’s #MusicMonday:

Sport fans from around the world can now buy their Paralympic tickets for Rio 2016 from authorised ticket resellers (ATRs).

The IPC’s Global ATR is Jet Set Sports, and Rio 2016 tickets and packages can be purchased on the CoSport website.

Residents of Brazil can buy 2016 Paralympics tickets directly from the Rio 2016 website.
