Citi Para Swimming World Series 2024
|
The Citi Para Swimming World Series will make history once again in 2024 as for the first time it will return to the same nine countries that hosted events in the previous season. Seven World Series will take place between February and June, before the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The season will then resume in November with the last two events of the calendar. For the second consecutive year, the Para Swimming World Series will have Citi as exclusive title partner. Citi Para Swimming World Series Great Britain1-4 February The 2024 World Series will kick off in Aberdeen, Great Britain in February. It will be the second time the Aberdeen Sports Village’s Aquatics Centre welcomes the Series - the first was in 2022 with nearly 100 athletes from 13 nations in the pool. |

Citi Para Swimming World Series Australia23-25 February The Citi Para Swimming World Series returns to Oceania in the last week of February as the Melbourne Sports Centres (MSAC) hosts the competition for the fifth time. |

Citi Para Swimming World Series Lignano Sabbiadoro14–17 March The World Series then travels back to Europe in March. The Bella Italia Village sports complex in Lignano Sabbiadoro is one of Para swimming's most traditional venues and held the competition for the first time in 2018. |

Citi Para Swimming World Series USA11-13 April Indianapolis will host the Citi Para Swimming World Series USA again in 2024 marking the first of the two World Series in the Americas region this year. |

Citi Para Swimming World Series Singapore17-19 May The World Series moves to Asia in May. The OCBC Aquatic Centre in Singapore previously hosted the competition in 2019, 2022 and 2023. |

Citi Para Swimming World Series Berlin30 May-2 June The German capital is the first of the two World Series in Europe between May and June. Berlin has featured in the calendar since the first season in 2017 with competition taking place at the Schwimm- und Sprunghalle in the Europasportpark (SSE). |

Citi Para Swimming World Series France7-9 June The host nation of the 2024 Paralympics joined the World Series for the first time in 2023. Once again, Limoges hosts the action in the last stop before August's Paralympic Games in Paris. |

Citi Para Swimming World Series Mexico21-24 November The first World Series after the Games will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico in November. It is the country's third appearance in the World Series calendar and the second time it is held at the Centro Acuatico Metropolitano in Guadalajara. |

All athletes' results at each Citi Para Swimming World Series edition are calculated using a standardised World Para Swimming points system via an online virtual competition platform. This ensures that the overall Citi Para Swimming World Series winner will be the best performing athlete over the duration of the series, meaning that every performance counts.
