The Canadian resort high in the famous Rocky Mountains will host the World Cup Finals, the last major event before the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.

Kimberley has its own Paralympic Training Centre, making it the only resort in North America that Para athletes can train in all four winter sports disciplines; alpine skiing, ice hockey, Nordic skiing and wheelchair curling.

It was also the site of Canada’s first disabled skiing programme, dating back to the 1970s.

As well as the World Cup Finals, Kimberley will also host NorAm and Special Olympics events in 2018.

Night skiing and chocolate fondue tours are among the other star attractions for visitors to the resort.
