This Slovenian resort is situated in the Upper Sava Valley of the Julian Alps.

Kranjsak Gora has existed as a settlement since the late 14th century before evolving into an Alpine resort.

The first ski lifts were built on the slopes of Vitranc, and now there are 18 slopes available, at altitudes ranging from 800m to 1,215m above sea level.

In winter the resort also boasts an Alpine Village, where wooden huts sell local produce and crafts.

A sports hall has also been built in the resort to allow athletes to train all year round.
