The last time they met was at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, with Norway taking a 2-0 victory.

The latest matches in the IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Series are set to take place from Friday (21-23 November) in Moss, Norway, as the home team and Sweden meet to claim crucial points in the table.

Both teams are set to compete in their respective pool World Championships in 2015, with A-Pool Norway competing in Buffalo, New York, USA, and B-Pool Sweden chalked to compete at home on Ostersund.

The last time they met was at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, with Norway taking a 2-0 victory.

The 2014 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey Scandinavian Challenge, as part of the World Series, takes place at the Moss Ice Rink.

Norway, the Paralympic champions in 1998 and world champions in 2004, are headlined by forward Rolf Pedersen and will take a further six players from their Sochi 2014 campaign to the ice.

Also on the team sheet is Lena Schroder, the defencewoman who represented Team Europe at the very first IPC Ice Sledge Hockey Women’s International Cup in Brampton, Canada, between 7-9 November.

Sweden, lead by Per Kasperi, will be hoping to recover from their Paralympic Winter Games experience where they failed to win a game. They will make one addition to the line-up with forward Dan Svensson.

They currently sit third in the table with one point after picking up goals against Germany and Italy at the first World Series tournament in Langenhagen, Germany, from 24-26 October.

Norway however have yet to field a fully-licensed team this season, meaning that their 2-1 win over Italy at the 2014 Torneo Internazionale di Ice Sledge Hockey in Torino, Italy, between 4-9 November did not count towards the rankings. At the same tournament they lost twice to Paralympic silver medallists Russia and 2-0 to Italy in another game.

The 2015 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships A-Pool take place between 24 April-2 May and feature Paralympic champions the USA, Russia and defending world champions Canada. Norway, Italy, Germany and Japan will also line-up.

The 2015 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships B-Pool take place between 15-21 March. Teams from South Korea, Sweden, Great Britain, Slovakia and Poland are expected.

The next World Series match is scheduled for 19-21 December in Litomerice, Czech Republic, with matches between A-Pool teams from the host country, Germany and Italy and B-Pool team South Korea.
