Sledge tournament kicks off in Torino

Italy, the Czech Republic and Russia are all scheduled to take part in the 2013 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships A-Pool in April in Goyang, Korea, so this tournament will serve as a solid tune-up for them.

The Italian ice sledge hockey team are hosting an international exhibition tournament starting on Tuesday (5 February) in Torino, drawing national squads from the Czech Republic, Japan and Russia.

Italy, the Czech Republic and Russia are all scheduled to take part in the 2013 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships A-Pool in April in Goyang, Korea, so this tournament will serve as a solid tune-up for them.

Meanwhile, it will be Japan’s final match experience before they host the B-Pool Championships in Nagano next month.
