World Para Athletics confirms 2024 competition calendar

World Para Athletics has announced on Monday (3 July) the competition calendar for the 2024 season.

It includes seven Grand Prix and the World Championships in Kobe, Japan.

The World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2024 will kick off in Dubai, UAE in February, in the same venue that hosted the 2019 Para Athletics World Championships.

Two GPs will take place in Africa, Tunis in March and Marrakech in April. Xalapa, Mexico returns for the second consecutive season hosting the GP in April.

Jesolo, Italy is set to be home of the Grand Prix once again in 2024 from 22 to 24 March. 

The Grand Prix 2024 will make a stop in May as the world's best travel to Japan for the Kobe 2024 Para Athletics World Championships. The World Para Athletics GP 2024 then resumes in June in Nottwil, Switzerland followed by Paris.

The French capital will wrap up the 2024 Grand Prix in the Charlety Stadium, the venue of this year's World Championships. More information about the Grand Prix season can be found here.
