The courses, hosted by Athletics Australia, involved both theoretical and practical work and covered topics such as classification rules, assessment and classification practice with athletes.
Brett Watton from Athletics Australia said: “Athletics Australia would like to thank the International Paralympic Committee and World Para Athletics for allowing us to host the event and the Australian Paralympic Committee for their ongoing support for classification in Australia.
“The training and certification of new classifiers is vital for the continued success of our sport internationally, and help assist in the development and raising awareness of Para athletics in Australia.
