He took up the sport in 2003 in Nove Mesto nad Metuji, Czech Republic.
Why this sport?
He began Para athletics for rehabilitation, a social activity and for physical exercise. He first tried swimming and wheelchair rugby before a friend encouraged him to try athletics.
