La Molina hosted the 2012/13 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in February 2013, the year Spain’s first ski lift in the resort celebrated its 70th birthday. In 2014/15, skiers will line-up for the first IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup of the season as they prepare for the 2015 World Championships in Panorama, Canada.

Located in the Pyrenees mountains, the resort is the oldest in Spain.

The competition will feature slalom and giant slalom events.
