She began swimming in 2008 at the NYRA 85 club in France.
Why this sport?
She began swimming for health reasons and to strengthen her right leg. "I liked it, so I continued."

Injuries
In 2021 she was affected by tendinitis in her left shoulder ahead of the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, but the issue did not prevent her from competing at the Games. (ouest-france.fr, 04 Aug 2021)
