When and where did you begin this sport?
He tried the sport a few times on his own after being encouraged by his friends, but did not begin training seriously until August 2012.
Why this sport?
He was competing in Para athletics and also did wakeboarding and other 'extreme' board sports when the Brazilian Snow Sports Federation noticed him. They thought he had good athletic capabilities and board skills, so they invited him to compete in the newly added Para snowboarding category at the national championships in 2012.
